FIRE ALARM PANEL UPGRADE - B Wing DAVIS

EXPECTED DURATION: 5 days

Please be advised that we are upgrading our fire alarm panel located in the B Wing.

During this upgrade, fire alarms signals and devices will not function.

Security will be performing a “FIRE WATCH” during the duration of this work.

Should you discover a fire, contact 911 immediately; leave the fire area advising others. Then contact Security to advise (4344)

Construction has begun on 2nd phase of the Davis Welcome Centre

This will involve removal of the red clay floor tiles and replacing them to match the tiles in the Welcome Centre entrance. As well as construction of a new location for Grenville Printing and a new office for the President.

This construction will involve some noise at times along with the blocking of hallways intermittantly over the next few months. We apolgize for any inconveniences.

DAVIS CAMPUS: H-Wing Elevator Outage - H Wing Elevator has been repaired and is now functioning properly.

The H-wing elevator at the Davis Campus is out of service due to a mechanical issue. We have been working with the service provider on the resolution, but anticipate the outage to extend for the next couple of days.

No alternative elevator access is available to 2nd and 3rd floor of the H building. Those who require access and assistance are requested to contact Security at X4344. We apologize for this inconvenience.

We will provide an update as soon as further information becomes available.
