Studio Theatre

Our Studio Theatre is a 'black box' with flexible seating for 72 patrons. Reserved seating.

Sheridan College is equipped with ramps and wheelchair facilities. Theatre Sheridan has limited wheelchair seating. Please make your requirements known when ordering tickets.

Relaxed Performances

Theatre Sheridan now offers relaxed performances! Please refer to our season schedule for specific relaxed performance dates.

A relaxed performance is a performance where some elements have been adjusted to allow a wider audience the opportunity to attend the show. These adjustments include:

• Keeping the house lights on at a low setting
• Changing some lighting cues to be less visually stimulating
• Limiting the number of loud noises
• Providing a pre-show introduction to the performance
• Having a room for people to go to when they feel overstimulated
• Relaxing our in/out policy to allow patrons more freedom to leave and re-enter the theatre as needed

While relaxed performances were originally designed for people with disabilities, there are benefits for anyone who would like to attend a relaxed performance! The aim of a relaxed performance is that the content and experience of the show is exactly the same, while the environment is more relaxed for the audience. All ticket sales are final and non-refundable with occasional exceptions, please see our Refund Policy for details.

All ticket orders, whether by phone, mail, or at the counter, are considered final sale, and must be accompanied by full payment. Theatre Sheridan accepts VISA, MasterCard, AMEX, cash and cheques made payable to ‘Sheridan College of Technology & Advanced Learning’. We are unable to accept debit card transactions.

Exchanges

Tickets may be exchanged for an alternate night of the same show, provided notice is given to the Box Office two business days prior to the date on the ticket you wish to exchange.

Refund Policy

The health and safety of our audiences, students, faculty, and staff is our top priority. If you are ill, we encourage you to stay home and we will be happy to accommodate you. You may choose from the following options:

1. Exchange your tickets for a different date (free of charge and subject to availability).
2. Convert the amount of your ticket into a donation for a tax receipt.
3. Hold the amount on your account for future use (as a gift certificate).
4. Request a full refund (up to 24 hours prior to the date and time of your performance).

Additional discounts

Theatre Sheridan offers discounts for groups of 15 or more. Some conditions apply — call the Box Office for details. Please note: Theatre Sheridan limits each purchaser to ONE discount for each full-price ticket sold.

Theatre Sheridan offers an alumni discount. Please call the Box Office for details. The alumni discount is available for only Sheridan alumni and cannot be used to purchase tickets for others.
