For immediate assistance in the event of direct threats, physical harm, or emergency situations on campus, contact Campus Safety Services by calling 905-815-4044. Campus Safety services are available 24/7 for support.

Sheridan has 147 emergency phones, which have been installed inside buildings and on the grounds at Trafalgar, Davis and Hazel McCallion campuses. Emergency phones provide direct access to Campus Safety, and in the event of an emergency or immediately upon request, a security guard is dispatched to the phone’s location.

Sheridan ALERT! app
Sheridan ALERT!, our official safety app, allows you to: receive Sheridan emergency notifications, contact Campus Safety, access campus maps, request a Safe Walk, report suspicious activity, and review emergency procedures. The Sheridan ALERT! app is available for free download at Google Play and the Apple App Store.
Report Suspicious Activity
Have you witnessed any concerning or suspicious activity on campus? Have you seen concerning or suspicious posts or tweets on social media? Your assistance in reporting such activity on campus will help to maintain a safe and secure environment for Sheridan’s students, employees and visitors. Report suspicious activity by submitting a form or contact Campus Safety Services to report any suspicious person(s), behaviour or activity.

Sexual harassment and violence
The Sexual Violence Response Specialist (SVRS) is a central point of contact and support for Sheridan students, faculty and staff who have experienced or been affected by sexual violence.
They can help you understand, access and navigate supports such as counselling, medical services, academic or workplace accommodations, financial aid and legal aid. The Sexual Violence Response Specialist is available during business hours from Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. by calling 905-845-9430, ext. 8430 or emailing svrs@sheridancollege.ca.

Student Advisement can help you get started at Sheridan and stay on track with your educational plan and goals. They're your first point of contact whenever you need academic advice, answers and support.

Health Services
The Sheridan Health Centre offers students comprehensive support for physical and mental health, including immunizations and sexual health services. Current Sheridan students can schedule appointments with the Health Centre, or access more information about health services and supports, through the Health Services page on Sheridan Central.

Employee and Family Assistance Program
All Sheridan employees have complimentary access to a variety of professional support resources and tools through the Telus Health’s Employee and Family Assistance Program (EFAP).
