Sheridan athletic therapy graduate honoured by Toronto Blue Jays

Honours Bachelor of Applied Health Sciences – Athletic Therapy alumnae Katie Reyes was recognized prior to a recent Toronto Blue Jays home game for serving as the team’s athletic therapy intern during the 2022 season.
Joining Reyes for an on-field plaque presentation at Rogers Centre were (from left) Sheridan Athletic Therapy field placement coordinator Julie Dickson and Blue Jays assistant athletic trainers Voon Chong and Drew MacDonald.
The Toronto Blue Jays Sports Medicine Scholarship for Athletic Therapy has been annually awarded to a Sheridan athletic therapy student since 1989 — including MacDonald, who interned for the Jays in 2008 and has worked for the club since 2011.
