Sheridan athletic therapy graduate honoured by Toronto Blue Jays

Sheridan athletic therapy graduate Katie Reyes stands on the Rogers Centre field with a plaque she received for serving as the Toronto Blue Jays' athletic therapy intern during the 2022 season. Reyes was joined on the field by Sheridan athletic therapy field placement coordinator Julie Dickson and Blue Jays assistant trainers Voon Chong and Drew MacDonald.Honours Bachelor of Applied Health Sciences – Athletic Therapy alumnae Katie Reyes was recognized prior to a recent Toronto Blue Jays home game for serving as the team’s athletic therapy intern during the 2022 season.

The Toronto Blue Jays Sports Medicine Scholarship for Athletic Therapy has been annually awarded to a Sheridan athletic therapy student since 1989 — including MacDonald, who interned for the Jays in 2008 and has worked for the club since 2011.
