All of Sheridan's business courses are taught at our state-of-the-art Hazel McCallion Campus, conveniently located in the heart of Mississauga.

An exciting, multicultural hub, some of Sheridan's business courses are taught at our Davis Campus. Located in Brampton, Davis is our largest campus.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Taking a full course load of five courses or more can typically be balanced with part-time work responsibilities.

    However, we don’t recommend studying full-time while also working full-time, as it is very difficult to balance the demands of both.

  • Yes, courses can be scheduled anytime between 8 a.m and 10 p.m., and we offer a selection of evening courses each semester!

    However, evening courses are not guaranteed, and you’ll almost certainly have to accommodate daytime courses at some point in your studies.

  • If you’re a full-time student, it will likely take you one year to complete a graduate certificate program, two years to complete a diploma program and three years to complete an advanced diploma program.

    If you’re studying part-time, the length of time it will take you to complete your program will depend on how many courses you choose to complete each semester.

  • Yes, you can! Our innovative Online Advanced Standing application process allows you to transfer previously earned credits at other institutions towards your Sheridan program of study. Once you’ve applied and paid your fees, you’ll be able to access myPathways, an online service that enables Sheridan students to see what previous learning credits can be applied towards your program.

    You may also be able to receive credit for any previous work experience, unrecognized training, independent study, volunteer activities or hobbies you’ve participated in that is related to your field of study!

  • All Pilon School of Business courses are offered at our state-of-the-art Hazel McCallion Campus (HMC), located in the heart of Mississauga at 4180 Duke of York Boulevard (across from Square One Shopping Centre).

    Many Pilon School of Business programs are also offered at our Davis Campus in Brampton. An exciting, multicultural hub, Davis is Sheridan’s largest campus.

  • As a Pilon School of Business student, you’ll have access to career support through Sheridan Works, an online platform that allows students, alumni and employers to engage in a variety of career-related and job-related activities. You’ll be able to apply to job positions through our Career Services job board, book appointments with employment consultants and career counsellors, view current Co-Curricular Record opportunities, and register for workshops, seminars, information sessions and more!

    If you’re enrolled in a program that includes a co-op or internship, we’ll also help you search and apply for co-op or internship positions, book interviews and meet with co-op advisers.

  • Yes, we do! Sheridan’s Entrepreneurship Discovery and Growth Engine (EDGE), located at our Hazel McCallion Campus, supports new and growing ventures by providing mentorship, workspace, training, learning programs and support to access funding. It also acts as a gateway to Sheridan’s many innovation resources and presents opportunities to network with like-minded entrepreneurs.
