Simone Harrington

Over the past 15 years, Simone has focused on joining her skills in strategy, project management and policy change to drive health system transformation. Simone is passionate about shaping a healthier tomorrow for the community, region and beyond. In her current role as VP, Institute for Better Heath (IBH), she is responsible for driving research, innovation and generating transformative health care solutions to support our ability to continue to provide accessible, high quality care now and in the future at Trillium Health Partners (THP) – a hospital system in Mississauga and West Toronto.

Prior to her role at IBH, Simone held several progressive leadership roles in programs across THP including strategy development, talent management, organizational effectiveness and project management. Prior to joining THP, Simone worked in health care consulting where she led projects focused on health system redesign to reduce wait times and the deployment of provincial health information systems.

Simone received her bachelor of science & business from the University of Waterloo’s co-op program and her MBA at The Schulich School of Business at York University.
