Dr. Usama (Sam) Elbayoumi is a health science professor and the Coordinator of the Pharmacy Technician Program (P.Tech) and Retail Pharmacy Assistant (RPA) at Sheridan College's Davis campus.   He earned his Bachelor of Pharmacy degree in 1997 and completed his Doctor of Pharmacy Degree at University of Florida in 2008. Currently, he is PhD candidate at the at Leslie Dan faculty of Pharmacy, University of Toronto researching the management of osteoporosis in long term care facilities. Sam is also involved in teaching at U of T School of Pharmacy and coordinates the Professional Practice and Pharmacy Management course at the International Pharmacy Graduate program.  In addition he was an adjunct Assistant Clinical Professor at University of Waterloo School of Pharmacy.

Sam is also Certified Geriatric Pharmacist (CGP) and has an extensive clinical experience particularly in geriatrics. He works as a consultant for several long term care facilities in Ontario where he offers clinical consultations and train nursing staff.

Past professional experience includes holding staff pharmacist and Pharmacy manager positions at A&P Canada (now Metro Canada).
