International Entrance Scholarship

All new international students beginning their full-time postsecondary studies at Sheridan in Winter 2025, Spring 2025, Fall 2025, Winter 2026, or Spring 2026 semesters will receive an entrance scholarship ranging from $1,000 to $3,000.

Note:

  • The ESL program is excluded.
  • For Winter 2025 and Spring 2025 semesters, the entrance scholarship is awarded to Year 1, Semester 1 students only.
You will be notified of your exact scholarship amount with your Letter of Acceptance. These funds will be automatically added to your account. You must remain full-time in the semester for the instalment to be issued for that semester.

The International Entrance Scholarship does not require a separate application.

Sheridan Global Advantage Award

Unlock your future with a $2,000 advantage!

International students who accept an offer and apply for a study permit to a full-time program at Sheridan College before June 15, 2025 may receive a $2,000 Sheridan Global Advantage Award!

This is in addition to any scholarship included in your Letter of Acceptance.

This award does not require a separate application. Starting on February 24, 2025, a C$2,000 credit will be posted to your Account Summary 3–5 business days after you accept an offer for an eligible program and start date. This credit is applied towards your first semester fees, reducing the amount due by C$2,000.

Terms and conditions

To receive and retain the award, you must:

  • Accept an offer to a full-time program at Sheridan College (not including the ESL program) before June 15, 2025. The offer must be for a program starting in Spring/Summer 2025, Fall 2025 or Winter 2026.
  • Apply for a study permit before June 15, 2025.
  • Pay the required fees as outlined in the Fee Estimate by the fee deadline indicated. Payment of full fees is required to access the course schedules.
  • Register and remain enrolled as a full-time international student paying international fees past the withdrawal deadline (the 10th day of classes) for the awarded start term.
  • Not receive a partial or full refund of the fees paid for the awarded start term.

If these conditions are not met, the award will be revoked.

The award is granted only once per student across the three eligible start terms (Spring/Summer 2025, Fall 2025, Winter 2026).

The award is non-refundable. If the award results in an overpayment of fees, the excess funds will be automatically applied to the fees for the next semester.
