Partnerships

The Centre for Applied AI (formerly known as the Centre for Mobile Innovation) strives to foster research collaboration with industries and community partners by capitalizing on the diverse talents and resources available at Sheridan, including Sheridan students, faculty and equipment along with excellent funding acquisition and management capabilities.

Since its establishment in 2017, the Centre for Applied AI has actively collaborated with more than 34 partners, conducted more than 50 research projects, and successfully secured grants exceeding $12 million from federal and provincial funding agencies.

How to partner with Sheridan's Centre for Applied AI (formerly known as the Centre for Mobile Innovation)

The Centre for Applied AI offers unique opportunities for research collaboration.

To partner with the Centre for Applied AI, your organization must have been incorporated/registered in Canada more than two years ago and have at least two full-time employees.

You might be interested in partnering with the Centre for Applied AI if:

  • You're interested in unlocking the potential of emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence, machine learning, mobile, wearable computing, augmented/virtual/mixed reality (AR/VR/MR), or Internet of Things (IoT).
  • You're facing an innovation challenge and would like to have a dedicated, high-calibre team to work on it.
