Industry engagement process
The Centre for Intelligent Manufacturing (formerly known as the Centre for Advanced Manufacturing and Design Technologies) team facilitates industry engagement for Sheridan staff and students that would like to collaborate with the Industry Partner.
Initial steps include:
- Complete the Centre for Intelligent Manufacturing (formerly known as the Centre for Advanced Manufacturing and Design Technologies) Partnership Intake Form
- Phone call to discuss the project
- Search for faculty with expertise & interest
- Course Release Approval by AD
- Faculty–Industry Partner discovery meeting to discuss project
- Research Project Proposal Development
- Project Proposal Approval Internally
- Collaborative Research Agreement signed
- Applied Research Project Begins
