The Centre for Applied AI (formerly known as the Centre for Mobile Innovation) offers employment opportunities for Sheridan students.

Full-time positions (co-op)
- Full-time paid positions with the Centre for Applied AI are open only to students who are currently enrolled in an academic co-op program at Sheridan.
- Students work 32–40 hours a week for the full academic semester (in most cases, not including Reading Week).
- All co-op positions are posted on Sheridan Works.

- Include your cover letter, resume, and grade transcripts

Part-time positions
- Part-time positions with the Centre for Applied AI are open to students who are currently enrolled in an academic semester at Sheridan (graduates are not eligible for these positions).
- These positions are not co-op work terms.
How to apply for part-time positions:
- Applications for part-time positions must be submitted to caai@sheridancollege.ca unless otherwise specified in the job description.
- If you are applying to several positions, a separate email is required for each position.
- Your email must include:
- Subject line: <use the job title from the position description and include the industry partner> (e.g., Mobile Application Developer–SOTI)
- The full name of your program and what semester you are currently enrolled in.
- Your student number
- A cover letter (attachment) outlining your background and why you are a good match for the research job position
- Your resume (attachment)
- Your current grades / transcripts (attachment)

M-Health Technology Analyst – CLOSED
Industry Partner: Torusoft, McMaster University
Project Summary: The overall project goal is to conduct evaluation of a new mobile health application, OnCall, a peer-to-peer support platform co-designed by and for Canadian Public Safety Personnel (PSP; e.g., correctional workers, firefighters, paramedics, police).

Project Summary: Sheridan Centre for Applied AI (formerly known as the Centre for Mobile Innovation) and Encore Market Engagement will research and develop AI/ML models to modernize retail sales strategies based on aggregated datasets from both openly available sources and proprietary datasets.

Industry partner: Oakville Public Library
Project Summary: With the overall objective to improve the library services, the Centre for Applied AI (formerly known as the Centre for Mobile Innovation) and the OPL will collaborate to enhance the capabilities of the Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) tool using Generative Artificial Intelligence (AI).

Project Summary: Smart Parking – Advanced AI and Computer Vision to enhance automatic parking in urban environments. This project proposes to simplify oversight and management for the town, ultimately creating a more efficient and enjoyable urban environment.
