George Bernard Shaw once said “We do not stop playing because we grow old, we grow old because we stop playing!” Dr. Cathy Coulthard holds a Ph.D in Applied Psychology and Human Development and is a Registered Early Childhood Educator (RECE). She strongly believes in the value of play, and play-based learning. Play has the power to transform people, and nowhere is that more evident than in young children.

With more than 30 years of experience in a variety of roles in early learning programs and education, Cathy has been an active participant in life-long learning and involved in advocating for children, families and Early Childhood Educators both domestically and internationally.
