An ode to the creative joy that is found in Queerness. Small Gods the Musical is a coming-of-age musical about a group of teenagers working in a mall while exploring first love, grappling with next steps, and following their dreams.
Small Gods the Musical will be on stage at Factory Theatre October 9–12, 2024.
Presented as a triple feature alongside 18 Palace Road and Piper.
First Drafts will be a stand-and-sing workshop presentation.
Works-in-development
Theatre Sheridan is proud to continue its legacy of developing new works.
To start our season, the First Drafts program features new musicals by some of Canada’s best writers and composers. These workshop presentations will premiere 45-minute excerpts of three never-before-seen scripts in their earliest stages of development.
The newly minted Musical Development Project provides a unique glimpse into the creative process, showcasing collaborations between our students and artists from around the world. Come see these new musicals in their final stages of development before they become the next big hit.
